Applying Primer
and Finish Coat Applying primer is a very important part of any paint job. The life of the entire paint system depends heavily on the quality of the primer. Therefore we recommend to use only the highest quality of primer available. Priming should be done after all necessary surface preparations have been completed. Many painting problems stem directly from poor surface preparation, however many other problems and failures result from misapplication of the paint itself. May it be improper use of the paint or low quality application tools. Since the finish coat is effected by the circumstance of job site location and variables such as wind, rain and various temperatures a contractor should be well trained and experienced as to how and when to apply the finishing coats. |
